Neil Waterworth's SEAT Cupra Championship 2006 Campaign
The SEAT Cupra Championship features packed grids of identical 250PS turbo-charged Leon Cupra Rs which ensures competitive races where driver skill is the key to success. It has already produced three worthy champions who have all gone on to either race or test a works SEAT Sport UK touring car, and this is an achievement Neil is aiming to emulate in 2006. In addition to this incentive there is a 1st prize in 2006 of £100,000 (the biggest cash prize in British motorsport!!), and in the previous three years SEAT have given away a prize fund worth over £1.2M.
This year’s series will continue to be fully manufacturer-backed and will once again form part of the TOCA BTCC support race package, with 18 races taking place over all nine mainland Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race weekends.
