In addition to servicing and repairs we carry out a lot of performance upgrades and modifications, this is where Awesome built up its superb reputation not only in the UK but throughout the world.

Our Dynojet 4wd rolling road is not just used for the performance side of tuning but can also help us to find and rectify a problem that only may only occur at higher speeds.

We have a fully air conditioned waiting area where you can access the internet, view Sky TV, PlayStation, or simply relax whilst watching your own vehicle being worked on. Courtesy cars (charged at £11.75) are available if booked in advance, there is a local train station nearby and the Trafford Centre is only 15 minutes away.

We can carry out anything from a basic oil and filter service, to an interim service or a full service and all parts used are of Original equipment manufacturer parts.

Our standard labour charge is £64.63 per hour. There is a minimum charge of £32.32 for any car we work on.

Air Conditioning Re-Gas
Get your air conditioning system checked and charged ready for the long hot summer.

Fully automated air con diagnosis and air con recharging

Checks efficiency of air con cooling system by taking external and cabin temperature differences

Checks type of gas used complies to BS standards

Air con system is vacumed out and old oil removed

System refilled with correct amount of refrigerant and new lubricating oil

System re-operated then checked and tested for results

The charge for a checkup is free of charge and a re-gas is £86.25

Air Conditioning Treatment Service

Does your car smell musty when the air con is in use? this can be due to bacteria in the system and can be neutralised and replaced with a pleasant 'as new' smell.

With nearly every vehicle coming off the production line having air conditioning its no wonder that the manufacturers are looking at this closely, this will certainly be part of a main service in the future. Also the warranty implications will be closely scrutinised, air conditioning on your vehicle is certainly not a maintenance free feature, this needs to be regularly serviced so not to void your warranty and more importantly not to be damaging your health.

Awesome offers as part of an extra service the Airco-clean as recommended by the OEM (original equipment manufacturers).

Air conditioned vehicles often seem to cause irritation to eyes, runny noses and sore throats. These symptoms are often accompanied by an unpleasant odour that can vary in its intensity. Contrary to popular belief, these problems are not caused by temperature variations leading to colds and chills, but by the formation of fungi and bacteria that form on the warm, damp evaporator fins. This provides a perfect environment for the growth of algae, bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms.

The resulting bacteria and smells are blown into the passenger compartment together with the cold air, causing the problems highlighted above.

Disinfects and eliminates microbes, fungi and bacteria.

Removes cause of allergic reactions.

Gets rid of unpleasant smells.

This service is an additional service if required, and the charge for this service is £34.44 and plus pollen filter if required.

Wynn’s Engine Purge
In survey after survey, service customers say there is one thing above all else they expect to experience as a result of a routine service on their vehicle - that it should drive better after the service than it did before.

On today's fuel-injected and electronically controlled engines, there is little to replace or adjust during a regular service that will significantly impact vehicle performance.

Fuel system contamination due to unstable and poor quality fuels is a worldwide issue. It clogs the engine's arteries and chokes its efficiency.

These sticky deposits build up in and around the fuel-injectors, valves, throttle bodies, and combustion chambers leading to a reduction in engine performance and response - the worldwide auto industry calls this 'Driveability'

Don’t put clean oil in a dirty engine!
As part of our Service we carry out a full Engine Oil Flush, the reasons for this are listed below.

Removes sludge and dissolves deposits

Frees sticking piston rings and hydraulic lifters

Protects the oil system during flushing

Prevents contamination of new oil

The charge for this service is £11.48, if you do not wish to have this service just let our service reception know and we will happily remove this from your bill.

Brake Disc Skimming
Because of constant refinement of materials, assembly tolerances and quality awareness, even minor defects in disc brakes are noticed by the driver. Vibration in the steering wheel or brake pedal can be felt immediately and brake noise is audible. Simply replacing the discs with new ones will not necessarily completely stop the vibration as disc runout can still occur due to the drive flange having runnout. We can now skim discs on the vehicle so the disc will be perfectly matched to the drive flange this will eliminate any vibration issues & save the cost of replacement.
